Acai Gets High Praise
Third Party Comparison of Exotic Superfruits Ranks Açaí as "Exceptional" Nutrient Source and "Highest Known" Antioxidant Strength
In a November publication of the “INSIDER”, Paul M. Gross, Ph.D., authors an article titled, Tracking Market Meteors: Exotic Superfruits. The article explores marketplace trends among six superfruits: açaí, goji, mangosteen, noni, pomegranate and seaberry. In his quantitative and qualitative assessment of nutrients and antioxidant strength, Gross recognizes the açaí berry as an "exceptional source of polyunsaturated fats (particularly oleic fatty acid) and dietary fiber. In addition the content of vitamin E, calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium and niacin in açaí are among the highest reported for plant foods."Gross ends his evaluation of açaí by noting that, "As measured by ORAC and phenolic concentration, antioxidant strength for the açaí is the highest known, exceeding the next closest food by three-fold."
On Gross's scale of 1-10 (10 = highest score), the açaí ranked 8 in nutrient density and diversity and is the only superfruit to receive a 10 in the category of antioxidant strength. On the same scale, mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) received a "1", the lowest rank, for nutrients and antioxidant strength. Similarly, the noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia L.) ranked a "2" in nutrients and "1" in antioxidant strength. In 2005, 4Life Research™ became the first company in history to successfully stabilize transfer factors in an açaí-rich beverage, the antioxidant powerhouse, RioVida®.
4Life Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Calvin McCausland: "Currently, our R&D Team is studying the role that transfer factors may play in antioxidant absorption to support overall good health. As evidenced by Gross's study, we know that açaí is a marvelous superfruit. But it's our transfer factor that distinguishes Riovdia in a superfruit beverage category all its own.4Life Founder and Chief Executive Officer David Lisonbee, concludes: "In terms of antioxidants and immune system support, 4Life Transfer Factor® RioVida is unparalleled. Some expect the superfruit beverage market to double by the end of 2008. Armed with RioVida, 4Life Distributors enjoy one of the most unique and praiseworthy beverage available anywhere in the world."

WOW 4Life Research Announces New Discovery
September 21, 2007 (Salt Lake City, Utah) 4Life Research™, the world leader in Transfer Factor science and immune system support development, announced today the discovery of immune activity in a weight range of molecules significantly smaller than transfer factors.
Transfer factors are molecules in a weight class between 3,500 - 12,000 daltons that help the immune system recognize, respond to, and remember outside threats. Although scientists have known that smaller molecules than transfer factors existed within cow colostrum, their significance in terms of immune activity has been unknown until now.
In 2005, 4Life Chief Executive Officer David Lisonbee and the Research and Development department began studying these low weight molecules. After two years of research, 4Life clinical findings now indicate that molecules in a weight range between 250 — 3,000 daltons play important regulatory roles in the immune system.
The nonprofit foundation AWFK is dedicated to enriching the lives and minds of children in Utah through innovative and high-quality arts education. AIS has been engaging Native Americans with important social programs and academic scholarships since 1958.
4Life extracted and concentrated these nanofraction molecules from cow colostrum for their proprietary NanoFactor™ extract, combining NanoFactor with their exclusive Transfer Factor E-XF™ extract of transfer factors from cow colostrum and chicken egg yolks to produce 4Life Transfer Factor Tri-Factor Formula, the most comprehensive approach to immune system support available today.
"I don't know of another company in our category," said 4Life Chief Scientific Officer Calvin McCausland, Ph.D. "In 2004, we were the first company to combine transfer factors from cow colostrum and chicken egg yolks. In 2005, we introduced RioVida®, the world's only transfer factor beverage. Now, the discovery of new immune activity in nanofractions. When it comes to scientific innovation, there's simply no comparison to 4Life."
"4Life is committed to building families through science, service, and success," Lisonbee concludes. "Everyone at 4Life is rooting for someone to hit the hole in one this year. We'd enjoy nothing more than to present the million-dollar check, which we've already printed in anticipation of some lucky participant’s good fortune. We invite the statewide community to come watch and visit 4Life on the 9th hole."
4Life Transfer Factor, Transfer Factor Plus®, and RioVida are now fortified with the new Tri-Factor Formula. "We're taking Tri-Factor Formula to the world because no other product represents such a unique and indispensable opportunity for a quality life," remarked 4Life President Steve Tew.
David Lisonbee: "At the end of the day, our distributors can rest assured that 4Life will stay a good pace ahead of the curve in the areas of science, service, and success."

4Life Featured in Direct Selling News Article
Salt Lake City, Utah (June 25, 2007) 4Life Research™ announced today that the company was featured in the June 2007 issue of Direct Selling News (DSN). The article by Katherine B. Ponder and entitled “Direct Selling in the Caribbean: Filling a Void,” explores the growing trend of direct selling distributors to expand their businesses into the Caribbean, and why the industry thrives so well there.
Long known to be hot tourist locations, Caribbean governments have realized that tourism alone will not create strong economies for their countries. Ponder writes, “Direct selling fills the void. It requires little startup funding for people to earn income and is not reliant upon cruise ship crowds. It works well with the culture, in which close family ties and friendship create the perfect audience for both products and opportunities.”
4Life Director of Field Development Nathan Larsen is quoted in the article as saying, “Distributors throughout the Caribbean are focused, hardworking, and passionate. They’re also open to the message of opportunity that our industry delivers.”
The 4Life Products and Opportunity have indeed found a home in the Caribbean, with booming organizations in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, and more. Ponder quotes 4Life Vice President, International Jeff Kalinin: “4Life’s compensation plan is geared toward making distributors profitable early on. It wasn’t long after our message of improving lives through Science, Service, and Success took hold in Puerto Rico that 4Life was island hopping.”
4Life is also perfectly suited for the island nations of the Caribbean because of the importance placed on family and friends. “Extended families play a very important role in Caribbean culture,” commented Kalinin. “People love to share their time together, and when a great opportunity presents itself, people throughout the islands work together to succeed together.”

New Study On The Benefits of Health Supplements
Salt Lake City, Utah (May 24, 2007) 4Life Research announced today the results of a new scientific study that demonstrates significant benefits to consuming certain health supplements. The study, reported on by NPIcenter, was commissioned by the Dietary Supplement Education Alliance and utilized research conducted by the Lewin Group in 2004 and 2005. Their findings show that over the next five years, use of certain dietary supplements could provide health support for key populations in the United States and save more than $24 billion in healthcare costs.
The specific supplements included in the study were: Calcium with vitamin D, Folic Acid, Omega-3 Fatty Acids, and Lutein with zeaxanthin. Use of calcium with vitamin D within the Medicare population could potentially help avoid approximately 776,000 hospitalizations for hip fractures over the next five years. Folic acid consumption in child-bearing women could help prevent neural tube defects in babies. Omega-3 fatty acid consumption among people over age 65 could potentially save $3.2 billion in healthcare costs for coronary heart disease.
“It is very gratifying to see a study such as this,” remarked 4Life Chief Scientific Officer Calvin McCausland. “We’ve known for many years that natural supplements can greatly support our health, as they provide micronutrients that are integral to the structure and function of the body. Hopefully, more studies that provide this same kind of corroboration will help the general public realize the broad spectrum benefits of natural health supplements.”
“This new study is another great prospecting tool for our distributors,” said 4Life Chief Executive Officer David Lisonbee. “I encourage 4Life Distributors to use this study to help prospects understand the many advantages of taking natural health supplements.”
"It's wonderful to see these new study findings," commented acclaimed health author Louise Tenney. "I have reported on hundreds of natural supplements over the years and these types of studies provide great validation in our efforts to educate others on the myriad benefits of these amazing natural products."
