Edgar Renteria visit to 4Life Office
"4Life Research announced today that 2010 World Series MVP, five-time All-Star, two-time Gold Glove, and Team 4Life member Edgar Rentería recently visited the 4Life Home Office for the first time. Rentería has been a consumer of 4Life Transfer Factor® products for many years and an active member of Team 4Life since April of 2009. Team 4Life is a group of world-renowned athletes who endorse 4Life Transfer Factor products.
During his visit, Rentería met with 4Life executives and spoke to 4Life employees at a special luncheon held in his honor. He also met with Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert. At a Utah Jazz basketball game, Rentería received on-court recognition."

4Life Colombia
"February 9, 2011, 4Life announced the inaugural opening of a new sales center recently in Barranquilla, Colombia. More than fifty invited leaders from the Atlantic coast attended the ribbon-cutting event. Barranquilla is World Series MVP and Team 4Life® member Edgar Rentería's home town.
Several distributors were in attendance including International Diamond Arlette Molina. Corporate Managers at the event included: General Manager Oscar Villabona, Sales Manager Omar Vargas, and Director of Marketing Nancy Soto.
As part of the event, new 4Life employees, Office Manager Felipe Orduz and Assistant Julio Junior Cabrera were introduced to help serve the needs of distributors in the area.
"This new center is the result of 4Life distributor activity and will be used to drive and support future distributor activity," commented Villabona.
Vice President, International Rich Decker, "Colombian distributors represent the commitment and leadership that 4Life stands for. I am very pleased with their continual growth and expansion."

Analytical Services Manager
"February, 2011 4Life is pleased to announce the recent appointment of 4Life employee Shauna Roman to the Expert Review Panel for Validation of Botanical Identification Methods. At 4Life, Roman serves as the Analytical Services Manager."
"Formed by AOAC International, the Scientific Association Dedicated to Analytical Excellence®, the Expert Review Panel establishes guidelines for validation of botanical identification methods in the herbal supplements industry. This panel includes representatives from the USDA, FDA, academic professionals, and the industry at large."
AOAC has a contract with the National Institute of Health (NIH) to support FDA initiatives on dietary supplements, including good manufacturing practices (gMPs).
"One of the great challenges of gMPs," says Roman, "is that compliance requires at least one identity test for every incoming lot of raw material, but in the dietary supplements community, botanical identification isn't well-defined. This new appointment will give 4Life a seat at the table in establishing these guidelines."

4Life South Korea
"4Life announced today, Febuary 4, 2011 the recent opening of a new business center in Daegu, South Korea. Daegu is a strong commercial business area in one of Korea’s largest cities."
"This is the third center 4Life has opened in Korea to support the activities of the international office in Seoul and to provide a meeting space for local distributors. The second center opened in Pusan, Korea in April 2010."
"More than 150 distributors were in attendance at the recent ribbon cutting ceremony for the Daegu center including Gold International Diamonds Dr. Jase Khyeam and Son Jae Min, both of whom addressed the participants at the event.
