4Life Team Member is Triathlete

"Team 4Life member Glenn Dobson recently completed the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. The triathlon, regarded by many as the most difficult one-day endurance race in the world, was held on October 13 and included a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile run. Glenn completed the Kona Ironman in a time of 14:43:55.

Over the course of his career, he has raced in the United States, Canada, Korea, France, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, and Great Britain. In 2011, he competed in The Marathon Des Sables, a week-long endurance race across 156 miles of the Sahara Desert.

4Life General Manager of Australia Evelyn Thom traveled to Hawaii with a group of distributors to support Glenn’s competition. There, they met Vice President, International Alan Michaelis who traveled from 4Life’s Global Headquarters in Sandy, Utah, to represent 4Life executives and athletically-minded distributors around the world. Alan Michaelis:

“The Kona Ironman has been a life-long goal of Glenn’s. It was a real honor to watch him compete in 4Life logo wear as a Team 4Life athlete.”

4Life executives launched the company’s 15-year anniversary celebration with the grand opening of the new south building at the Global Headquarters in Sandy, Utah. The event was broadcasted live to 4Life offices in twenty-two countries and to distributors in more than fifty countries around the world. Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, Congressman Jim Matheson, and Sandy City Mayor Tom Dolan were among the VIPs who spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Utah Senator Hatch, architect of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA), is among the greatest advocates of the health and wellness industry.

Congressman Matheson serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, an exclusive committee that deals with energy policy, consumer protection, and food and drug safety, among other critical issues. Mayor Tom Dolan was elected mayor of Sandy City in 1994 and is currently serving his fifth term. In 2010, he received the Best of State medal as mayor. Senator Hatch pointed out that thanks to companies like 4Life; the dietary supplement industry has recently exceeded Ski and Tourism as the largest industry in the state of Utah.
“Entrepreneurialism is what sets us a part,” remarked Mayor Dolan. 

“David and Bianca Lisonbee turned their vision into a reality that now positively impacts families here and around the world.”

 The event also attracted 4Life distributors from around the United States and Puerto Rico, including Platinum International Diamonds Dr. Herminio Nevárez and Yadira Olivo, Gabriela Daughtrey, and Bonnie Taylor. Health Sciences Advisory Member and Gold International Diamond Dr. Robert W. Robertson, Jr., MD, was also onsite.

4Life Founders David and Bianca Lisonbee were humbled by the praise and edification of 4Life and the decision they made to launch the company.

“It’s important to note,” said David Lisonbee, “that we couldn’t have done this alone. Something this large is the result of each person’s contribution — our great distributors and employees alike.”
