First Lady of Colombia

From the 4Life News Center:

"4Life executives traveled with the First Lady of Colombia to Puerto Libertador, a remote city in the northern part of the country, to donate 8,500 bags of 4Life Fortify® to children in need.

4Life Chief Operations Officer Danny Lee:
What an unprecedented honor. This donation originated as a result of our offer to support the First Lady of Colombia, María Clemencia Santos in her humanitarian efforts in Colombia. By working under her direction, we’ve made an impact in an area that would otherwise be impossible for us to reach. This event is a testament to the power of partnerships.

4Life representatives Danny Lee, Spanish Field Development Director Deborah Dixon, and General Manager, Colombia Oscar Villabona joined the First Lady’s military convoy in Bogotá to complete the journey via helicopter to Puerto Libertador. Side-by-side with government officials, they distributed 2,200 bags of 4Life Fortify to 400 local families. The local Red Cross received the remainder of the shipment.

President Steve Tew:
Distributors around the world drive the 4Life Fortify program by purchasing product to donate. This event began more than two weeks ago when 8,500 bags of 4Life Fortify departed Norfolk, Virginia, on the Sun Round cargo vessel. The donation is worth more than a quarter million USD—and much more than that, I suspect, to the people whose lives have benefitted in the process.

The vessel’s 40-foot container carried 19 pallets of 440 bags a piece. 4Life Fortify is a high-quality meal of rice, lentils, and beans, along with a nutritional complex of vitamins, minerals, and 4Life Transfer Factor®."

4Life Founder and CEO David Lisonbee:
On behalf of our entire corporate team, we thank the First Lady of Colombia for allowing us to support her in making this donation and we look forward to future partnership opportunities.
