Senior Vice President of Marketing Trent Tenney:
“Our corporate commitment to fitness emulates through the personal dedication to health and wellness that 4Life executives and employees generally share. An active lifestyle is an integral component of the 4Life brand. It’s one of many business advantages our distributors share with others.”
World Series Most Valuable Player (MVP) Edgar Rentería launched the Team Rentería Baseball Academy to educate children on social risks in their community, provide a positive and engaging sporting environment, and focus on the pursuit of maximizing individual talent.
Utah FC exists to enhance, assist, and cultivate the sport of soccer in Utah. The organization encourages athletics among the economically disadvantaged and fosters programs that provide health, physical fitness, and educational opportunities.
The North American Powerlifting Federation is committed to world-class, drug-free competition throughout North America and the Caribbean Nations. The Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF) recently featured 4Life Founders David and Bianca Lisonbee as part of an Executive Spotlight series. The article focuses on corporate ethics, philanthropy, and 4Life’s network of global distributors.
When asked what they love about the company, Bianca stated,
“Our distributors. Our employees. Our partnerships. The people. In fact, our corporate slogan is Together, Building People. Science is an integral part of our opportunity, but it isn’t science for science’s sake. We commit ourselves to one-of-a-kind products in order to engage entrepreneurs with an opportunity to succeed.”
The DSEF’s mission is to engage and educate the public about how direct selling empowers individuals, supports communities, and strengthens economies worldwide. The organization’s mission is to create a global marketplace that respects and appreciates direct selling.
"Thanks to the hard work of 4Life distributors,"
said David Lisonbee, "
We’re able to partner with the DSEF as a primary supporter. It’s an important corporate alliance because the DSEF fosters awareness about our industry through public educational programming. "4Life has reinvented distributor recognition with the direct selling industry’s first-ever bilingual recognition portal with real-time content: my4lifesuccess.com. No models, no canned content, no clipart or paid-for images, and no delay. Just the stories, accolades, images, and videos of actual distributors and their real success for the purpose of recognition and business- building.
4Life’s new recognition portal is public, not private. This gives it a very unique position within the industry. Typically, recognition resources are ensconced by firewalls and password-protected back offices. 4Life chose to place the recognition of its distributors onstage as a public domain and premier source of credibility.
Platinum International Diamond Juan Rosado:
“my4lifesuccess.com is unmatched in its power to recognize and to edify. Use it to know your fellow 4Life distributors. Use it to share with others and to promote your success."
Powered by a dynamic, global content management system, my4lifesuccess.com automatically recognizes the large and small but significant achievements of distributors from Mongolia to Puerto Rico and all areas in-between. Whether a distributor sponsors a single person, breaks a significant rank, or helps someone through the company’s Foundation 4Life® charity or 4Life Fortify® Feed the Children program, visitors will find this relevant recognition news in areas like Today’s Accomplishments and Latest Rank Advancements. All of the content is well-organized and easy to share via Facebook, Twitter™, and email."
Other benefits include:
• Photos, stories, and videos of top 4Life distributors
• Special awards section
• Incentive trip highlights
Founder and CEO David Lisonbee:
“We’re thrilled to leverage technology to recognize 4Life distributors in such a unique way. Recognition is at the heart of all we do so it’s fitting that we offer the field this one-of-a-kind tool. "4Life executives traveled with the First Lady of Colombia to Puerto Libertador, a remote city in the northern part of the country, to donate 8,500 bags of 4Life Fortify® to children in need.
4Life Chief Operations Officer Danny Lee:
What an unprecedented honor. This donation originated as a result of our offer to support the First Lady of Colombia, María Clemencia Santos in her humanitarian efforts in Colombia. By working under her direction, we’ve made an impact in an area that would otherwise be impossible for us to reach. This event is a testament to the power of partnerships.
4Life representatives Danny Lee, Spanish Field Development Director Deborah Dixon, and General Manager, Colombia Oscar Villabona joined the First Lady’s military convoy in Bogotá to complete the journey via helicopter to Puerto Libertador. Side-by-side with government officials, they distributed 2,200 bags of 4Life Fortify to 400 local families. The local Red Cross received the remainder of the shipment.
President Steve Tew:
Distributors around the world drive the 4Life Fortify program by purchasing product to donate. This event began more than two weeks ago when 8,500 bags of 4Life Fortify departed Norfolk, Virginia, on the Sun Round cargo vessel. The donation is worth more than a quarter million USD—and much more than that, I suspect, to the people whose lives have benefitted in the process.
The vessel’s 40-foot container carried 19 pallets of 440 bags a piece. 4Life Fortify is a high-quality meal of rice, lentils, and beans, along with a nutritional complex of vitamins, minerals, and 4Life Transfer Factor®."
4Life Founder and CEO David Lisonbee:
On behalf of our entire corporate team, we thank the First Lady of Colombia for allowing us to support her in making this donation and we look forward to future partnership opportunities.

"On February 2, 2012, 4Life Vice President of Marketing Jason Gough participated in an industry roundtable discussion with executives from Tahitian Noni, LifeVantage, and ASEA. The event was hosted by Bennett Communications, a Utah-based publishing company. An article of the discussion will appear in the April issue of BusinessQ magazine.
Click here to view photos from the roundtable. Topics of discussion included the qualities necessary forsuccess in network marketing, the impact of social media on the distributor experience, and whether or not direct sales is counter-cyclical in terms of sustainability during turbulent economic times.
Jason Gough: “Traditionally, we say that our industry is recession-proof, but that hasn’t been the case for many network marketing companies. In the case of 4Life, however, we’ve seen record growth during the past three years. I attribute this to a legitimate product offering, a fair compensation plan, and the fact that we’ve been solid and stable throughout the years.”
Bennett Communications is the parent company of Utah Valley Magazine. The company publishes four original titles: Utah Valley Magazine, Utah Valley Business Quarterly, Main Street Magazine, and Utah Valley Bride. In addition, Bennett Communications publishes one national title — Celebrating Women.

"4Life employees were among hundreds of key industry leaders who participated in this year’s Direct Selling Association (DSA) Be Connected Conference in Henderson, Nevada. The annual event is designed as a best practices exchange to better equip corporate employees to serve independent distributors.
The focus of this year’s curriculum included social media, field development, and innovative marketing solutions. 4Life Web Services Director Nelson Altamirano was among the conference speakers. The focus of his presentation was on microsites, mobile technology, and ways that corporations can leverage technology to support leaders in the field.
Vice President of Communications Calvin Jolley:
Participation in these types of events distinguishes 4Life as a leader in the industry. Nelson’s presentation was important because it highlighted many ways in which we exceed our competitors in terms of the kind of online tools and resources we offer the field: mobile-ready websites, social media platforms, in-depth splash sites, and extensive back office reporting are just a few of the online opportunities that we invest in for our distributors.
4Life is good standing member in more than a dozen Direct Selling Associations (DSA) around the world, including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Korea, Philippines, Colombia, Taiwan, Ecuador, Mexico, Thailand, Chile, Spain, and Indonesia.
As a member of the top 100 global companies in the direct selling industry (Direct Selling News Global 100) and a long-time member of the DSA, 4Life pledges to follow the DSA’s ethical business practices as set forth in the Code of Ethics. The DSA's mission strives to “protect, serve, and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent.”
