National Governors Association (NGA)

From the 4Life News Center:

"This past weekend, 4Life was a proud sponsor of the National Governors Association (NGA) Annual Meeting held in downtown Salt Lake City at the Grand America Hotel.

The NGA was founded in 1908 to serve as the collective voice for governors throughout the United States. NGA members include governors of the 50 states, three territories and two commonwealths. The NGA represents its members on Capitol Hill, addresses important federal issues, and creates innovative solutions for public policy through the NGA Center for Best Practices.

This year’s opening session addressed the necessity of economic growth around the country. NGA Chair and Washington Governor Chris Gregoire:
Strengthening our economies means making sure that more of our residents have the skills they need to compete for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

The three-day event included a visit to the Utah Museum of Natural History, dinner at the University of Utah Red Butte Arboretum, and a social gathering at Utah Olympic Park, site of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

We’re really appreciative of our 4Life distributors,
said President Steve Tew.
It’s their hard work that enabled us to sponsor the National Governors Association Annual Meeting. The event provided an important platform for collaboration among political leaders from around the United States.

David Lisonbee, Founder and CEO:
Corporate social responsibility is a term used to describe a company’s ability and willingness to meaningfully address community concerns. 4Life distributors have a right to be proud of the work that we do. From the field-driven work of Foundation 4Life to special engagements like our support of the NGA, we’re committed to ongoing participation in communities where we conduct business.
